In
the absence of any clearly expressed style trends in contemporary easel art the
labels of "realism", "impressionism" or even
"primitivism" are easily stuck on the product of creative work by
authors who often haven't even thought of such "scientific"
perception of their paintings. The recognizableness and the presence of
historical analogies, though they arise by an evident stretch, now are to set
at rest many "consumers of the beautiful". |
